Big Decisions

Today we are faced with some very big life decisions and we have no clear directions to go in.  We are sifting, sorting and praying that we will see the next step in our journey and ask any of you who might read this to please pray along with us!  Beyond a shadow of a doubt I know God has it all figured out, and we just need to hear what He is saying  Stay tuned (and do please pray!)

Frustrations for today

Don't mean to sound whiney but I am frustrated. I have been posting the fear daily devotional to this blog for a few weeks now and all of a sudden it will not do it the same why. Urgh. And of course in the process of trying to fix it, I completely deleted all the links and all the information. Double Urgh.

I don't mind changes if I know what they are and why they are happening but I can't figure out what has been changed to cause this to happen!

Okay, I understand...it is just life right? I am not to know the reason, nor why it happened, just go with the flow. Okay, so that is why the posting font is different today.

I am actually going to a class tonight to learn how to put together a WordPress blog. Be forewarned Mr. Blogger, if I figure out WordPress I might just have to leave you. It is too frustrating to come home to a changes without warning!!!

Have a great day all.

Challenges of the day

As I was posting the daily devotional I just saw a tweet pop up from a pastor in Tennessee.  It was so great!  He said: "My head is hurting. Why is church so complicated? Why can't we just sit around the fire and sing "Kum by ya"? :)" (pwilson)  Wow, so simple, yet so profound!
Today I pray that I am part of the solution, not the problem!
I also ask for prayer for a friend whose husband is starting chemo again this week.  Also, for her daughter & son-in-law as Matt is about to leave for Iraq.  As a reserve member and a highway patrolman, he did not expect to be called.  He has two children as well.  Makes me realize my blessings and so appreciate those who serve for us...not just the one overseas but the family behind them.

Wonderful Sunday

Just returned from the first day's service by the Passion City Church at the Tabernacle.  We actually attended the second service since the 7 pm service had so many RSVP's they added an additional service at 4:45.  Along with hundreds of others, we arrived early (around 6:00) and stood outside in the cold until about 6:50 when the first service finally released.  The line was about 4 blocks long.  Cars driving by kept stopping and asking what was going on that so many people were waiting in line.  They were told it was the Passion Church meeting for Jesus.  Already a witness!
It was an amazing service with Chris Tomlin and band along with the Knockles leading a wonderful music ministry.  It was wonderful to see so many people raising their arms and singing out loud for the Lord.  Very energizing!
Louie Giglio's word was as usual very inspiring.
Looks like a good beginning.
Buckhead service was amazing as well!! Jeff Henderson's message was a blessing and the baptisms at the service were special.
Lunch with TJ, Jeremiah, Erin and Ben was very special as well.
All around just a great, blessed day.

New fear quote

I hope someone reads this and has the time to go to the bottom of the page and read the fear quote for today. It really resonated once again for me today!  I pray that I find some more folks to stand with me in the days ahead.  I really need folks to hold up my arms.  Anyone else need an "arm rest"? Give me a holler.  It always takes our mind off our problems when we can help others, don't you think?
Have a wonderful happy V day!!

Computers/love 'em or hate 'em! But you gotta have 'em

I spent the last nearly 24 hours (slept about 5) trying to get the internet reconnected.  I wasn't doing too well on my witness when I called Comcast and Apple so I do need to take some time and repent.  I guess I h.ave been spending too much time in front of the computer, working on website building, trying to get some school classes started, insurance, jobs etc to be relaxed about it...But it has become my life and not sure how good or bad that is, just a fact.  So when it doesn't work, it is so very frustrating.  Like a car of old I guess (not that they still don't matter!)

Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant.  Hope all of your computer days are going better.
Obviously we finally got things corrected!

Blessing to all.
